Mabel E. Henry

Mabel E. Henry, 87, of Gallipolis, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at her residence. She was born August 2, 1929 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late William T. and Mabel Cornell Porter. Mabel was married to Roger R. Henry and he preceded her in death in 1999. Mabel retired as an attendant at Gallipolis Developmental Center and was a homemaker. Surviving are her son, Ronald E. (Mary Sue) Henry of Gallipolis; two grandchildren, Jason R. Henry (Sherry Fredericks), of Gallipolis and Leslie R. Henry (Todd Bryant) of Bidwell; a sister, Violet Jeffers of Gallipolis and a brother, Paul Porter of Gallipolis. In addition to her parents, and husband, Roger R. Henry, Mabel was preceded in death by brothers James Porter and Ralph Porter and half brothers, Vernon Kuhn and William Kuhn. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 11, 2016 at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens with Pastor Ralph Workman officiating. Burial will follow the services.
