Magdaline E. St. Clair, 94, of Gallipolis, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Arbors at Gallipolis. She was born on January 2, 1913 in Mason County, West Virginia to the late Frank and Mary Flint VanSickle. She was married to Fred A. St. Clair on May 15, 1937 in Gallipolis, Ohio and he preceded her in death. She attended Debbie Drive Chapel and was a homemaker. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann Marvin Hufford of Gallipolis; a son, Gene Sue St. Clair of Newark; one grandson, Harold Hufford of Rio Grande; one great grandson, Nickolas Hufford of Gallipolis; a sister, Ernestine Blake of Delaware; a brother, John VanSickle of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews. Magdaline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Fred A. St. Clair in 2002, three sisters, Marcena Denney, Ruby Sheets, and Naomi Sines, six brothers, Issac, Marvin, Charlie, Foster, Henry, and Lee VanSickle and two brothers and one sister in infancy. Services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, October 27, 2007 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley and Pastor Jim Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Reynolds Cemetery.
