Margaret Jane Bowser Priddy

Margaret Jane Bowser Priddy, 76, of Gallipolis, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. She was born March 15, 1940 in Henderson, West Virginia, daughter of the late Elmer H. Bowser and Daisy J. Barker Bowser. Margaret was a 1958 graduate of Point Pleasant High School. In addition to being a mother and wife, Margaret also worked at Heck’s Department Store, Fisher’s Department Store, Shopper’s Mart and Artley’s Dress Shop. Margaret was a faithful Christian and a member of the Church of Christ at Rio Grande. She married William B. Priddy July 26, 1958 and is survived by him. Also surviving are three children, Kristina S. (Rick) Stout, Regina D. (Dewey) Rhodes and Jerry (Heather) Priddy; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; four brothers, Oren Eugene (Jean) Bowser, Ralph Bowser, Ernest (Nancy) Bowser and David (Gloria) Bowser; one sister, Debra Given; and a sister-in-law, Mary Bowser. Preceding Margaret in death in addition to her parents is one brother, Ray Bowser. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 21, 2016 at the Willis Funeral Home with Minister Tim Gainer officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Green Township. Friends may call on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the funeral home from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
