Mariam G. Pursley

Mariam G. Danner Pursley, 95, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Friday, October 31, 2008 at the Scenic Hills Care Center. She was a member of the Walnut Ridge Church and a retired Waitress in Berea, Ohio. Mariam was born on May 16, 1913 in Gallia County, Ohio daughter of the late Arch and Hattie Walters Danner. She was preceded in death by her husband John Pursley in 1988; a granddaughter Karen Sanders, one brother Walter Danner and by two sisters, Shirley Boster and Bonnie Hutton, and by a daughter-in-law Audrey Watson. She is survived by one daughter Dorothy Richard Rodgers of Galion, Ohio and by two sons Bobby G. Carolyn Watson of Crown City and Jimmy H. Barbara Watson of Lancaster, Ohio; a sister Isobel Sheets of Gallipolis; 4 Grandchildren Phil Angel Sanders, Tim Sandy Watson, Kim Mike Dennison, and Michelle John Meeks; 10 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; Services will be 1 pm Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 from 6-8 pm at Willis Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Phil Sanders, Tim Watson, Mike Dennison, Kyle Watson, John Meeks, and Shaun Meeks.
