Marie Barrett

Marie Barrett, 86, of Glen Fork, WV, formerly of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at her residence. She was born October 7, 1928 in Mingo County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Ballard and Sinda Hall. She was married to James Barrett and he preceded her in death on June 1, 2001. She was a homemaker and member of Otsego Church of Christ in Mullens, West Virginia and a former member of Rio Grande Church of Christ. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia (Robert) Estep of Glen Fork, West Virginia and 3 sons, Jerry (Nina) Barrett of Ragland, West Virginia, James D. Barrett of Stollings, West Virginia, and Charles R. (Marcia) Barrett of Long Bottom, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Luther Hall of Patriot, Benny Hall of Ashville, Ohio, and Danny Hall of Patriot; two sisters, Hulda Hendrick of Gallipolis and Bonnie Darst of Patriot. In addition to her parents and husband, James Barrett, Marie was preceded in death by four brothers, Marion Hall, Robert Hall, Willie Hall and Donald Hall, and one sister, Allie Eblin. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Willis Funeral Home in Gallipolis, Ohio with Minister Donnie Estep and Minister Tim Gainer officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call from 12-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
