Marilyn K. Browning

Marilyn K. Browning, 71, of Gallipolis, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the Holzer Senior Care Center. She was born July 20, 1938 in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Arbie E. and Mary I. Wooley Wofter. Marilyn was married to Howard A. Browning and he preceded her in death on March 6, 1992. She was a homemaker. Surviving Marilyn are her three daughters, Kathy Dan Butcher and Karen Vaughn Taylor, both of Bidwell and Kelly Randy Patrick of Gallipolis; seven grandchildren, Justin Chelsea Taylor, Jared Jenny Taylor, Kari Beth Kent Trout, Ryan Butcher, Tiffany Butcher, Grace Patrick, Warren Patrick; one great grandson, Seth Michael Taylor; and one brother, Arbie Sonny Wofter of South Zanesville. In addition to her parents and her husband, Howard Browning, Marilyn was preceded in death by a great grandson, Michael Hunter Trout and a sister, Mary Ann Wofter. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Haley officiating. Burial will follow at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens.
