Mark Alan Jeffers

Mark Alan Jeffers. 67, of Bidwell, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Holzer Medical Center.

Mark grew up on a farm in Cadmus, where he developed his love of the outdoors, animals of all sorts, fishing, hiking, and fast cars. He was a soft-spoken, mild, quiet soul, and yet quite comical, witty, and fun, too. He will be missed by many while he sleeps, awaiting his promised resurrection, safe in Jehovah's memory.

Born on February 5, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio, Mark was the son of the late Lowell Ed and Carolyn Wagner Jeffers. On July 22, 1977, Mark married Trena Paxton Jeffers, who survives him in Bidwell. Mark and his wife Trena owned and operated a commercial painting business. Mark was a graduate of Southwestern High School and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses- Twin Rivers.

Mark is survived by his wife, Trena Jeffers of Bidwell; sister, Chris Ann (Jamie) Callihan of Patriot, Ohio; niece, Lindsey Nicole (Steve) Roderick of Gallipolis, Ohio; nephew, Ethan Reid Tawney of Chicago, Illinois; aunts, Betty Hill of Patriot, Ohio and Carmen Briggs of Patriot; mother-in-law, Patricia Paxton of Cambridge, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Pam Breitkreutz and Dana Mullins both of Cambridge; brothers-in-law, Randy Paxton and Danny Paxton of Cambridge; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Brent Paxton.

A Memorial Service for Mark will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses- Twin Rivers, 538 Bulaville Pike, Gallipolis, Ohio with Armond "Chino" Hoafat officiating.
