Martha "Cookie" Shaffer

Martha “Cookie” Shaffer, 64, of Gallipolis, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. She was born February 11, 1953 in Logan, West Virginia, daughter of the late Willard and Freda Robinson. Martha married Dean Shaffer and he preceded her in death on July 14, 2001. She was a nurse’s aid at Arbors. Surviving are her sons, Timmy S. Shaffer of Gallipolis and Joshua A. (Ashley) Shaffer of Washington Court House; a daughter, Micki M. Shaffer of Chillicothe; three grandchildren, Madison, Destiny, and Preslee; one sister, Jeanette Banta of Tennessee. In addition to her parents and husband, Dean Shaffer, she was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jaelynn and a brother, Georgie Robinson. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 12, 2018 at the Willis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kings Chapel Cemetery. Friends may visit from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service on Monday.
