Mary M. Swick

Mary M. Swick, 93, of Gallipolis, died Saturday, March 4, 2006 at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. She was born on October 12, 1912 in Gallia Co., Ohio to the late Mark and Cora Caldwell Burnett. She was a retired school teacher, a member of the Ohio Retired Teacher Association, and a member of the Hope United Methodist Church in Wellston Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband Claude Swick, her parents Mark and Cora Burnett, Six brothers Ervin, Carroll, Cecil, Homer, Granville and Luther Burnette and two sisters, Kathryn Burnett and Juhl Brumfield. She is survived by two brothers Marshall M. Burnett and Buell G. Burnett and several nieces and nephews. Private services were held on Monday, March 6, 2006 with Pastor Glen Herman officiating. Burial was in the Vinton Memorial Park. Willis Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
