Matthew R. Bremner

Matthew R. Bremner, 14, of Crown City, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2010 at the Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room. He was born March 28, 1996 in Columbus, Ohio, son of Kenneth R. and Katherine E. Wildman Bremner, who survive him. Matthew was a student at Hannan Trace Elementary through the sixth grade, where he was in TAG. He also received the Presidential Academic Award. Currently, he was in the 9th grade doing his education online. He was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving are his parents, Kenneth R. and Katherine E. Bremner of Crown City; a brother, Lucas S. Bremner of Crown City; a sister, Kelly (Dan) Williams of Mt. Gilead, Ohio; a niece, Emily and a nephew, Tristan; maternal grandmother, Glenda Wildman of Mechanicsburg, Ohio; aunts and uncles, Harry and Sally Bremner of Arizona, Janet Boetticher and B.J. Wildman, both of Mechanicsburg, Ohio; and cousins Amanda Boetticher and Joshua Hunt. Matthew was preceded in death by grandparents, James Wildman and Matthew and Helen Bremner. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Providence Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Troy Delaney officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service.
