Maxie E. Roberts

Maxie “Bubba” Roberts, 65, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Holzer Medical Center.

Born on May 22, 1957 in Gallia County, Ohio, Bubba was the son of the late Maxie Earl Roberts and Thelma D. Biars Folden.  Bubba was a carpenter, working for Dale Workman Construction.  He was a member of the Kanauga Sportsman Club and Elks Lodge.  Bubba enjoyed his family, hunting, and playing cards.

Bubba is survived by his companion, Cindy Milliron; son, Ethan Roberts; sisters, Sharon (Harry) Yarbrough, Jo Ann (John) Davis, and Leisha (Tony) Saunders; brother, Roy (Norma) Roberts; brother-in-law, Cliff Parsons; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother and father, Bubba was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Roberts and stepfather, Murrel Folden.

The family will be planning a Memorial Graveside Service in the spring.
