Maycle June Searls, 79, of Tallahassee, FL passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. She was a homemaker and a lifetime DAV member of Chapter 8 Auxiliary. She was born on January 27, 1927 in Syracuse, Ohio daughter of the late George Walter Cook and Emma Louise Capehart Cook. She was married to Pearl E. Searls on June 5, 1948 in Pomeroy, Ohio and they resided on Paulins Hill in Cheshire, Ohio for most of their lives. Mr. Searls preceded her in death on March 29, 2000. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Walter Ray Jo Ann Searls of Tallahassee, FL, and Charles Edward Sharon Cook; one granddaughter; one foster grandson and three foster great grandchildren; one brother Raymond Earl Betty Jo Cook of Pomeroy; four sisters, Edna Searls of Gallipolis, Della Gene Miller and Florence Rieble, both of Tuscon, Arizona and Eva Mae Ezra Phillips of Syracuse, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and by three brothers and one sister. Services will be 11 AM Saturday, August 19, 2006 at Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Stinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the services.
