Mildred I Lee

Mildred I. Lee, 97, of Gallipolis, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Holzer Senior Care Center. She was born September 19, 1919, daughter of the late Louis R. and Pearl Smith Green Sr. Mildred married George Howard Lee and he preceded her in death in 1987. She was a homemaker and member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Pt. Pleasant, WV, where she had served as an elder. Surviving are several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, and great great great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, George Howard Lee, Mildred was preceded in death by brothers, Alfred, William, Franklin, James, Louis Green and Charles Greene, sister, Louise Penick, and sisters in infancy Bertha and Florence Green. Services will be 12:00 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Gene A. Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Street Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., prior to the funeral.
