Mohler B. Martin

Mohler B. Martin, 96, of Bidwell, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2006 at his residence. He was born on March 8, 1910 in Charleston, WV to the late Robert Lovel and Ruena Backus Martin. Mohler was married to Corrine Rhodes Martin on November 22, 1930 in Ashland, KY and she preceded him in death. He was a pattern maker at Kanawha Manufacturing in Charleston, WV. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Gallipolis and was a former member of the Judson Sunday School class. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, M. Wyatte and Leah Martin of Bidwell; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and David L. Hannah of Latham, Ohio; five grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; one brother, Sterling Alice Martin of Charleston, WV; several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents, his wife, Corinne Martin on August 17, 2000, two daughters, one grandson, one great grandson, three sisters, Maybelle M. Arbaugh, Thelma Olaker, Rowena Hawley and one brother Frederick P. Martin. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2006 at the Spring Hill Cemetery in Charleston, WV with Pastor Alvis Pollard officiating.
