Myron Dale Watson, age 83, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 8, 1933 in Crown City, Ohio, the son of Golden and Gertie Watson. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and retired from Roadway Express in 1998 with over 3 million miles accident free. Myron is survived by his wife of 63 years, Maralene (Small) Watson, sons Tim Watson of Columbus, Tom (Kelley) Watson and daughter Beth (Scott) Zody, both of Lancaster, Ohio. “Papaw” is survived by his seven loving grandchildren, Bradley Watson, Brooke (Mike) Parker, Nicholas (Abby) Watson, Jacob (Brittanie) Watson, Nathan Zody, Lauren Zody, and Ally Watson; eight great grandchildren, Aubrey, Makenzie, Lexie, Lydia, Samuel, Maggie, Luke and Ellie. Myron was preceded in death by parents Golden and Gertie Watson, sister Frances Thomas, brother Harold “Buddy” Watson and sister-in-law Pauline Watson. Myron is survived by his loving sister Frieda “Granny” Ervin of Fort Myers, Florida, brother-in-law’s, sister-in-law’s, and several nieces and nephews. He faithfully served at Dayspring Community Church of the Nazarene where a Celebration of his life will be held at a later date, and officiated by Pastor Jarrod Spaulding. The family would like to thank the staff of Mount Carmel Hospice and Mryon’s niece Nola Kilgore for their loving and tender care. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Warner and Pastor Jarrod Spaulding officiating Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery.
