Nellie Jane Watson Clary, 96, of Crown City, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2005 at the Holzer Medical Center. She was born on September 18, 1909 in Lawrence County, Ohio to the late Patrick Amos and Liza Jane Rossitter Watson. She was married to Clarence B. Clary who preceded her in death on December 30, 1983. She was a homemaker. Surviving are two sons, Jim Clary of Gallipolis and Ed Marsha Clary of Crown City; three daughters, Norma Jean Brannen and Shirley Williams, both of Gallipolis, and Betty June Miller of Miller, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Joy Clary of Gallipolis; 24 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; one sister, Virgie Wilson of South Point, Ohio; two brothers, Orson Watson of Miller, Ohio and Ernie Watson of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Nancy of Gallipolis. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents and husband, Clarence B. Clary, are two sons, Homer Clary in 1996 and Bobby Lee Clary in 2001, three sons-in-law, Jackson Miller, Carl Brannen and Charles McWhorter, one grandson, Marion Joe Clary, one great grandson, Levi Hoover, a sister Della Warren and two brothers Chauncey Watson and Cary Watson. Services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2005 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Bowers officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 from 6-9 p.m. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
