Olive Evadene Lambert, 93, of Patriot, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2006 at the Holzer Medical Center. She was born on February 13, 1912 in Gallia County, Ohio to the late Dempsey and Dora Cotton Hively. She was married to Estle Lambert who preceded her in death in 1964. She was a seamstress and homemaker, and also enjoyed gardening. Surviving are three daughters, Roxie Glenn Davies and Beulah Roger Thomas, both of Patriot, and Violet William Wells of Gallipolis; four sons, Cecil Helen Lambert, Carl Sylvia Lambert, David Judy Lambert, and Ricky Teresa Lambert, all of Patriot; 23 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren; and one brother, Merrill Hively of Patriot. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents and husband, Estle Lambert, were five children, two daughters in infancy, three sons – two in infancy and Charles Lambert in 1988, and one brother, Vanus Hively. Services will be on Friday, February 3, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Bynum officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, February 2, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
