Otis Wayne McGowan I, 63, of Pollocksville, North Carolina, died Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at Craven Regional Medical Center in New Bern, North Carolina. Mr. McGowan was preceded in death by his wife, Betty L. McGowan and one daughter, Teressa L. McGowan. Surviving are children, Otis Wayne McGowan II, Frederick McGowan and his wife, Crystal L. Baver, Paul A. Belcher, and Julie K. Chadd and her husband, Bert P. Chadd, all of Jacksonville, North Carolina and seven grand pets. Graveside services will be on Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Centenary Cemetery.
