Pamela R. Bryan, 67, of Ocala, Florida, went home to meet her Lord and Savior on January 13, 2026 after a long illness. She was born on August 23, 1958, in South Charleston, West Virginia to Mary Lemon Bryan and the late David G. Bryan, Sr.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Bryan of Ona, West Virginia and her brothers, David G. Bryan, Jr. (Pam) and Mark V. Bryan (Brenda) both of Gallipolis. She is also survived by three nieces and four nephews. She will be missed by a host of friends. She leaves behind her latest rescue Sheltie, Mieko.
Pam was a proud graduate of Holzer Medical Center School of Nursing and enjoyed her life -long career serving others as a Registered Nurse in Columbus, Ohio. She started her career at Holzer, then Dublin Methodist, Ohio University, Riverside, and Grant Medical Center. After retiring, Pam relocated to Florida to care for her elderly parents.
Pam enjoyed volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, traveling, as well as spending time with her many friends. She was a football enthusiast who loved The Ohio State Buckeyes. In her younger years, she participated in the Ohio youth choir, GAHS madrigals, basketball, and women’s softball. One of her passions in life was rescuing Shelties.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Chapman officiating. A tribute honoring Pam’s nursing career will be presented by the Nurse Honor Guard of the Ohio Valley. Calling hours will be from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. Her burial will follow at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Hunter and Issac Gilliland, Jamie Birchfield, Jared and Jason Bryan, Scott Gilliland, and Trevor Bryan.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in memory of Pam, to Central Ohio Sheltie Rescue, P.O. Box 13072, Columbus, Ohio 43213.
