Paul L Knox, Sr.

Paul L. Knox, Sr., 74, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away in his home on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 11pm after a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer. Paul was born in Vinton County, Ohio on May 3, 1944 to the late Raymond and Vernice (Scott) Knox, and was raised by Everett and Tillie Knox. He was the owner of AOK Builders before retiring in 2006. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Paul was a member of the VFW Post #4464, the Gallipolis Elks Lodge #107, and United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. Paul is survived by his wife of 52 years, Darlene Knox. He is also survived by his daughter Paula Knox of Gallipolis, and son Paul (Christi) Knox, Jr. of South Solon, Ohio. Paul is also survived by two grandsons Kruz White and Dalton Knox, and one granddaughter Carly Knox. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Frank Knox, a sister LaDonna Knox, and a nephew Frankie Taylor. At Paul’s request there will be no services.
