Prudence White

Prudence E. White, 80, of Jackson, Ohio, formerly of Bidwell entered into her eternal home on Monday, April 6, 2026 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio after an extended illness. She was born on October 17, 1945 in Bellefontaine, Ohio, daughter of the late Robert and Mary Humble Wall.

Prudy, as she was affectionately called, was known for her sweet disposition and tender heart. Her loving smile and beautiful blue eyes would melt the hearts of those she came in contact with. If any problem would arise in our lives, she would always tell us to "Just pray about it." Her faith in God was the bedrock of her existence. Prudy enjoyed crocheting and spending time with family and friends.

Prudence was married to Edward White who preceded her in death in 2011. The two met while working at Urbana Methodist Hospital in Urbana, Ohio. After they married they moved to Bidwell and had two children, Dianna White of Vinton, Ohio and Quentin White of Heath, Ohio; three grandchildren, Scott J. (Tera) White of Jackson, Ohio, Marc White of E. Machias, Maine, and Jared White of Missouri; two great grandchildren, Landon and Haleigh White; a special grand god-son Peyton Kipte; and her best friend Sarah Morrow of Jackson. In addition to her parents and husband, Prudy was preceded in death by a sister Betty Fry and brother-in-law Richard Fry.

A visitation will be held on Saturday April 11, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Willis Funeral Home with a memorial service following at 6:00 p.m.
