Raymond Wimmer, 61, of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. Born on October 25, 1964, Ray was the son of the late Percy W. and Anga Mae Wimmer.
Ray worked as a car salesman at Wheels & Deals in Pomeroy, Ohio, where he built lasting relationships within the community. He was a proud member of the Masons, the Moose, the Elks, and the Shriners. Ray enjoyed golfing and spending time with his friends and family.
He was a quiet, steady presence who valued the friendships he built around town and the simple joy of good company. Although we miss him, we hope he's playing the best golf course in Heaven.
In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Gardner, and a half-brother, Dennis Landis. He is survived by his son, Cody (Kali) Wimmer of Bidwell, Ohio; a daughter, Ashley (Danny) Navarrete of Snowflake, Arizona; sisters, Angela Anderson, Carlena Anderson of California, and Teresa Lopez of California; the joys of his life, his grandchildren, Cayson Wimmer, Corbin Navarrete, Breanna Navarrete, and Tyson Navarrete; long-time friends, Jeff (Fabrienna) Goebel, Ted (Jamie) Dexter, Ted Adams, David (Diana) Somerville, and his favorite B-Dubs Girls; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
