Rebecca Jane Boggs

Rebecca Jane Boggs, 94, of Bidwell, Ohio died on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the home of her daughter. She was born on October 17, 1921 in Gallia County, daughter of the late Lindsey and Lelia Craft Cornell. She was a homemaker and attended the First Baptist Church in Gallipolis. She was married to Thurman Boggs on September 22, 1941 and he preceded her in death on July 2, 1994. She is survived by a daughter Carolyn (Jack) Kesecker of Rodney, and a son Lonnie Boggs of Gallipolis; three grandchildren Rex (Crystal) Kelley of Gallipolis, Nanette Kelley of Kissimmee, FL, and Andra (Nick) Stidham of Gallipolis; two great grandchildren Kristin Kelley of Orlando, FL and Chelsea (Chris) Spaulding of Orlando, FL, several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Janice Saunders, and Mary Jean Betz and a brother William David Cornell. Services will be Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alvis Pollard officiating. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens.
