Rebecca M. Slone

Rebecca M. Slone, 64, of Gallipolis, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room. Becky was born August 19, 1951 in Marion, Ohio, daughter of the late Vern C. and Alice Harvey Griffith. She was married to Jerry D. Slone and he survives her. Becky was a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Jerry Slone of Gallipolis; a son, JJ (Amanda) Slone of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two sisters, Margie Stitt of Columbus and Susan Bremer of Marion; a brother, Phillip Griffith of Ottumwa, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by a brother Dennis Griffith. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Griffith and Pastor Alvis Pollard officiating.
