Regenia F. Grubb

Regenia F. “Jean” Grubb, 72, of Patriot, Ohio died on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at the Holzer Medical Center. She was born on March 2, 1934 in Huntington, WV. The daughter of the late Claude W. and Mary Cole Grubb. Jean was a homemaker and a member of the Gallia County Extension Homemakers Club. She was a 4-H advisor for over 42 years, and a member of the Salem Missionary Baptist Society. She was survived by sisters: Mary Ellen Hussell of Huntington, WV, Aileen Short of Huntington, WV Gwendolyn Shelby Jones of Okeechobee, FL, Jacqueline Glenn Graham of Patriot, OH, and Winona Thomas Eskins of Patriot, OH and a niece Kathy Frye Verelli who was raised in her home. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers; Claude Vernon Grubb and John W. Grubb; 3 sisters Carroll Grubb, Evelena Grubb, and Francis Grubb. Services will be at 10:30 am Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in the Huxham Cemetery in Huntington, WV. Friends may call on Tuesday, June 6, 2006 from 6 until 8 pm at the Willis Funeral Home.
