Rex Patrick Watson

Rex Patrick Watson, 54, of Crown City, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born January 8, 1964 in Huntington, WV, son of the late Thomas M. Watson and Beatrice Joyce Turley Watson, who survives him. Rex was a graduate of Hannan Trace High School and a Domino’s Driver in Huntington, WV. He enjoyed South Gallia ball games. Surviving are his mother, Beatrice Joyce Watson of Crown City; four brothers, Randy (Judy) Watson of Bartlett, Tennessee, Chris Watson of Crown City, Darin (Ardella) Watson of Chesapeake, and Jason (Rebecca) Watson of Walton, Kentucky; a sister-in-law, Sheila Watson of Crown City; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Thomas M. Watson in 2001, Rex was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Thomas Watson in 2014. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Unroe officiating. Burial will follow in Crown City Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral.
