Richard Glen Ferguson

Richard Glen Ferguson, 68, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at his residence. Born on March 15, 1954 in Boone County, West Virginia, Richard was the son of the late William Jackson Ferguson and the late Wanda Mae Short Sharrone. Richard was a graduate of Gallia Academy High School and a boiler maker with Local #105 of Winfield, West Virginia. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a lifetime member of American Legion 27. Richard enjoyed westerns, motorcycles, and playing the banjo and guitar; he loved his dogs. Richard is survived by his sister, Phyllis “Jeannie” Beaver of Gallipolis and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Ferguson and Russell Ferguson and a nephew, Chris Beaver. At this time, no public services will be held for Richard.
