Richard O. Graham, 84, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Abbyshire Place. Richard was born on October 9, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio son of the late Clovis Oren and Aubry Opal Sims Graham. He retired from Jenkins Concrete where he was the manager, and was the former owner of R & M Furniture. He was a good father and good friend to others. He enjoyed story-telling, all sports, and was especially a UK fan. Richard was also a United Methodist Minister. Richard served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was married to Carol Fry Graham on March 29, 1952 and she survives him. Richard is also survived by seven children, Richard Graham, Jr., of Tunkhannock, PA, Diana (Ken) Beaton of Shelbyville, KY, Debbie (Mike) Hughes of Gallipolis, Mickey (Laurie) Graham of Gallipolis, Shari (Rob) Rocchi of Gallipolis, Brad (Nancy) Graham of Gallipolis, and Brent (Linette) Graham of Fairfield, OH, 17 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren, one sister Kay (Curtis) Sheets of Grove City, OH, a sister-in-law Linda Graham of Crossville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law Theresa Graham, great granddaughter Bee Beaver, and by a sister Mary Lou Halley and a brother Danny Graham. Services will be 1 pm Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Rankin officiating. Friends may call from 11 am until the time of the services on Thursday at the funeral home.
