Robert "Bob" L. Ruff

Robert L. “Bob” Ruff, 77, of Thurman, passed away quietly Monday, October 26, 2015 with his family by his side. He was born on January 26, 1938 in Gallipolis, son of the late Frank and Marie Patterson Ruff. Robert was a member of Thurman United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge 371 of Centerville, and Thurman Grange. He also had his commercial pilot's license. Robert is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sue Wiseman Ruff. Surviving in addition to his wife is one sister, Dorothy L. Ruff of Thurman and 5 children, Carroll (Cheryl) Ruff of Patriot, Bob (Beth) Ruff of Patriot, Larry Ruff of Thurman, Mary Lynne (Scott) Jones of Thurman, Josh (Jennifer) Ruff of Dublin, Ohio; grandchildren, Zach (Ashley) Ruff, Aaron (Melissa) Ruff, Cassidy (Robert) Massie, Nathan Jones, Rachel (Pete) Fisher, Annah Ruff, Molly Ruff, Lindsey Ruff, Tyler Ruff and the late Courtney Ruff; and great grandchildren, Maddox and Abigail Fisher and Kyle Massie. A Celebration of Life will be at 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor John Rozewicz officiating.
