Robert Earl Gardner

Robert Earl Gardner, 60 of Cottageville, WV died on Friday, December 3, 2010 at his residence. Robert was born on April 16, 1950 in Gallipolis, Ohio son of the late Elmer and Myrtle Fillinger Gardner. He was a retired brick mason for the Century Aluminum and a member of the United Steel Workers Local 5668. He is survived by his wife Carol Rupe Gardner of Cottageville, WV. Sons: Robert Earl Gardner Jr. and his wife Angela of Fayetteville NC, and Thomas Wayne Gardner of Cottageville WV, Daughters: Stephanie Black of Lima, OH and Jessica Nicole Gardner of Cottageville WV. Grandchildren: Kimberly, Christopher and Robert Earl Gardner III, 3 step grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren, and special little girls Hannah and Emily Brothers: Donald (Ruth) Gardner of Cheshire, OH, Tom Gardner of Vinton OH, Jeff (Pam) Gardner of Gallipolis OH, Sister Mary (Warren) Berry of Gallipolis, OH and several nieces and nephews Robert is preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Myrtle Gardner one sister Barbara Samour and a brother Jack Gardner. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm Monday, December 6, 2010 at the Willis Funeral Home, with Rev. Jimmy Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the Willis Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Chris Collins, GaryWestmoreland, Warren Berry, Ray Wimmer, Dennis Landis, Louis Plants, Joe Miller, and Raymond Justice.
