Robert O. "Bob" Hudson

Robert O. “Bob” Hudson, 64, of Crown City, Ohio passed away on August 8, 2018 at his residence. Born March 16, 1954 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Bob was the son of Clifford O. and Betty Lewis Hudson of Henderson, West Virginia, who survive him. On July 21, 1978, Bob married Barbara “Bobbie” Barcus Hudson in Perrysburg, Virginia; she survives him. He was a former employee of Robbins & Myers and Gallia County. Bob was a former member of the Gallia County Coon Club, the West Virginia Quarter Horse Association, the Winfield Riding Club, and the Point Pleasant High School Class of 73. He loved hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents and wife, Bob is survived by his son, Harry Hudson of Crown City; grandson, Dacoda Charles Hudson of Crown City; sisters, Debby (Calvin) Pearson of Leon, West Virginia, Sandy Buttrick of Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia, Dee Fetty of Delaware, Ohio, and Jeannie (Thomas) Roush of West Columbia, West Virginia; brother, Dave (Karen) Hudson of Henderson, West Virginia; mother-in-law, Opal Barcus of Crown City; sister-in-law, Shirley (Tom) Beaver of Gallipolis; brother-in-law, Kenny (Tammi) Barcus of Crown City; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Tim Angel. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Carnes and Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the funeral home.
