Robert E. Thacker

Robert E. Thacker, 82, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Holzer Assisted Living. He was born on December 23, 1934 in Wheelersburg, Ohio, son of the late Ervin Robert and Grace Allen Thacker. He was a delivery truck driver. Surviving are his children, Brenda (Richard) Gomez, of Lake Helen, FL, Patty (Dave) Brown of Deland, FL, Robert Anthony Thacker of Lake Mack, FL, and Billy Edwin Thacker of Daytona Beach, FL; 4 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren; one brother Karl (Winfred) Thacker of Bidwell, two sisters Leva Bloomfield of Flatwoods, KY and Wilma Yingling of Hamestead, MD. He was preceded in death by his wife Joanne Thacker and by 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Services will be 4 pm Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Cline McCallister officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-4pm the day of the service.
