Robert Ray Thivener

Robert Ray “Bob” Thivener, 68, of Gallipolis, died on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at his residence. He was born on June 17, 1949 in Gallia County, Ohio son of the late Herbert and Ethel Clark Thivener. Robert was a dishwasher at Golden Corral Restaurant. He attended Debbie Drive Chapel. He is survived by a son Robbie (Sara) Thivener of Crown City, two granddaughters, Kierra and Hannah, one sister Sharon (Willard) Huffman of Pt. Pleasant, step-children Michael and Kathy, three nephews David Johnson, Thomas (Kim) Johnson, and Jason Johnson all of Gallipolis. Memorial services will be on 2 pm Sunday August 6, 2017 at Willis Funeral Home, with Pastor Rick Towe officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 -2 prior the service.
