Roger B. Burnett, 63, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born July 17, 1953 in Gallipolis, son of the late Buell G. and Pearl Northup Burnett. Roger was a member of the Army National Guard. He retired from Bob Evans Farms Inc. as the Springfield Plant Manager with over 40 years of service. Roger was a member of Elks Lodge #51 in Springfield and a Union Club Member. He was a huge Nascar fan, loved to ride his Harley, traveling and finding Man vs. Food restaurants. Roger did everything possible with his grandkids. Surviving are his daughter, Amberr (Tony) Foreman of Springfield; five grandchildren, Colton Derham, Haley Foreman, Simon Foreman, Logan Derham, and Lyla Graham; his fiancé, Sherry Boblitt of Springfield; two sisters, Kathy (John) Thomas and Karen (Larry) Clark, both of Gallipolis; a brother, Ronnie “Rono” (Janet) Burnett of Gallipolis; son-in-law, Greg (Christy) Derham of Beavercreek; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his daughter, Autumn Burnett Derham. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the Willis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Sunday prior to the funeral. Pallbearers will be Tony Foreman, Greg Derham, Rob Allen, Jack Saunders, Dave Morgan, and Ronnie “Rono” Burnett, honorary pallbearers Colton Derham and Simon Foreman.
