Ronald R Calhoun

Ronald R Calhoun, 85, of Pahrump, NV and formerly of Gallipolis, OH and Columbus, OH, passed away on September 7, 2017, in Las Vegas, NV. Ron was born of the late Flora (Thompson) Calhoun and William K Calhoun. Ron was preceded in death by son Craig S. Calhoun and brother-in-law E. Brian Peach. Ron is survived by his wife, E Merlaine (Micki) Calhoun, and son, Clay W. Calhoun, both in Pahrump, NV, and daughter, Kieron L. Calhoun, in Columbus, OH, grandsons Paul Stenbak, Steven Calhoun, William Calhoun, and Finian Calhoun and granddaughters, Kathleen (Calhoun) Mensi and Ella Calhoun, multiple great grandsons and great granddaughters, and much loved cousins JoAnn Clark and Joy Chapman. Ron was a graduate of The Ohio State University and for most of his working life was a lawyer and Judge. He really enjoyed his time as an arbitrator, travelling, his family and friends, and being part of Grace UMC's God Squad. He will be sincerely missed. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Willis Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Vega Cemetery, 182 Ebb Tomblin Rd, Thurman, OH 45685, immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
