Ronald E. Knotts, Sr.

Ronald E. Knotts, Sr., 81, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 9, 2007 at his residence. He was born on January 10, 1926 in Minnora, West Virginia son of Greeta Madge Baker and Perry Edward Knotts. He was a retired auctioneer and furniture store operator. He also was an instructor for auctioneering. He was a member of K of P Lodge in Gallipolis and a member of the National Auctioneer Association. Surviving is his wife Daisy E. Slayton Knotts of Gallipolis; two daughters Kris Moore of Columbus, Donna Jean John Harless of Gallipolis; three sons, Ronald E. Lois Knotts, Jr. of Gallipolis, Stephen Allen Sheila Knotts of Fremont, NC, and David Lee Jodi Knotts of Gallipolis; 13 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren, two brothers, Harry Baker Frances Knotts of Auburndale, FL, and Carroll V. Carolyn Knotts of Belpre, OH; two sisters, Fern Gene Deel of Parkersburg, WV, and Glenna Dale Carpenter of Orma, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson Brian Knotts, and a great granddaughter Tory Tilley. Graveside services will be 10 am Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Centenary Cemetery with Jane Ann Miller officiating. Friends may call on Monday, March 12, 2007 from 6-8 PM at the Willis Funeral Home.
