Ruth E. Houck

Ruth E. Houck, 90, of Dayton, Ohio formerly of Gallipolis, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2006 at the Walnut Creek Nursing Facilities in Dayton. She was born on June 9, 1916 in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Davis and Lillie Fowler Myers. She was married to William R. Houck and he preceded her on March 6, 1997 Ruth was a homemaker and a member of the Mercerville Baptist Church. Surviving are her nieces Janice Rick Bowersox of Dayton, JoAnn James Albery of Nederland, TX , and her husband’s nieces and nephew: Beverly Hobart Wilson, Barbara Charles Sisson and Bonita Mink all of Gallipolis, and James Sheila Mink of Orient, OH She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Mary Frances Myers Rose and Helen Myers Murphy and a niece Joyce Mink. Services will be 1:00 pm Friday, May 25, 2007 at the Willis Funeral Home Under the direction of Pastor Jim Lusher. Burial will follow at the Mound Hill Cemetery.
