RUTH ANN DILLON WHITE Ruth Ann White, 80, Ellenton FL, (formerly from Gallipolis OH and Montgomery AL) passed away on December 27, 2015 in Palmetto Fl. She was born on September 2, 1935 in Miller OH to Jyles William and Mabel Wright Dillon. She was a loving mother / homemaker, Postal Worker in Gallipolis; and, Library Clerk at Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Owen White; their son, Richard Owen White; and Sister, Edna Brumfield. She is survived by daughters Terry (Larry) Hemby, Ellenton Florida and Brenda (David) Turner, Montgomery Alabama. Grandchildren are Amy Hemby, Parrish Florida, Kelli (Bill) Tawney, Bradenton Florida and Nathan (Amanda) Hemby, Gallipolis, OH. Great Grandchildren are Zachary Hemby, Allison & Will Tawney, Evan Hoffer and Owen Hemby. Sisters Bernice (Bill) Fulks, Alberta (Dale) Brumfield, Patty Turley, Jeannie (Jerry) Burcham, one brother William (Sue) Dillon. She was a member of the church of Christ. Service will be held at the Willis Funeral Home, Gallipolis OH on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 2pm with viewing one hour prior. Evangelist Tim Gainer will be officiating.
