Sally Jo Icard

Sally Jo Icard, 89, of Patriot, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026 at her residence. Born on February 22, 1937, Sally was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Terza Kessler Dickson.

On December 31, 1954, Sally married Earl Jackson Icard, who preceded her in death on September 8, 2019. Sally attended the First Church of the Nazarene, and found enjoyment in horses, as well as riding motorcycles across the country with her husband.

In addition to her husband and parents, Sally was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Jane Plyburn. She is survived by her sons, Jack L. (Sandra) Icard of Hawthorne, Florida and Jeff (Cathy) Icard of Patriot. Ohio; two grandchildren, Lindsey (Justin) Miller of Patriot, Ohio and Corey (Rebecca) Icard of Roanoke, Virginia; two great-grandchildren, Riggs and Reece Miller; as well as a brother, Bill (Joy) Dickson of Pensacola, Florida.

The memorial service for Sally will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Summerville and Pastor Gene Harmon officiating. Friends and family may be received from 6:00 p.m. until time of services on Wednesday.
