Shannon R. Wolford

Shannon R. Wolford, 37, of Vinton, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born July 26, 1979 in Pt. Pleasant, WV, son of the late Lacey Wolford Jr. and Bonnie Nutter Moore of Vinton, who survives him. Also surviving are his girlfriend, Ashley Neville of Bidwell; two sons, Mason Wolford and Marshall Wolford, both of Bidwell; brothers and sisters, Adam (Sarah) Wolford, Duane (Kandi) Willison of Vinton, Lacey Wolford and Tracey Wolford, both of Bidwell, Sierra (Alan) Matteson Bonnie and Charlie, all of Vinton, Karla Dotson of Phelps, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; a special friend, Joe Hager of Bidwell. In addition to his father, Lacey Wolford Jr., Shannon was preceded in death by a sister, Wendy Wolford. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Heath Jenkins officiating.
