Shirley Speakman

Shirley Speakman, 76, of Gallipolis, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Holzer Medical Center. She was born March 2, 1941 in Gallia County, daughter of the late Joseph T. and Hazel Johnson Cox. In addition to her parents and her husbands, Lawrence Speakman and William Siders, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Surviving are her son Charles (Rose) McGuire of Gallipolis; her daughter, Tina McGuire; grandchildren, Little Charlie, Marissa, Ronelle, Kate and Joseph McGuire; sisters and brother, Betty Lou Bufkin, Nancy Stewart, and Ray Cox. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 11, 2017 at the Willis Funeral Home with Chaplain Fred Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Mina Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
