Susan Elaine Casto Casey

Susan Elaine Casto Casey went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 25, 2025. She was born at the old Holzer Hospital in Gallipolis, Ohio on July 23, 1948, to Earl and Eva Lou Casto. Susan graduated from Gallia Academy High School and Marshall University as a Lab Technician. She worked for Pleasant Valley Hospital for 45 years until she retired. Susan loved crafting, crocheting, and canning. She loved spending time with her grandchildren the most.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Evan Lou Casto; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Velva Casey; husband, Charles Larry Casey; brothers-in-law, Ronald Casey, Donald Casey, and Michael Casey; sister-in-law, LaDonna Casey Davis; and nephew, Christopher Gilmore.

Susan is survived by her son, Charles (Mary) Casey; stepson, Larry L. Casey; stepdaughter, Libby (Ken) Patrick; grandchildren, Nicholas, Lauren, Colin, Allen, Kenneth (Tanya), and Ryan (Katie); great-grandchildren, Arabella, Ariella, Kyle, Masen, Tyler, Jameson, and Liam; brothers-in-law, Rick Casey and Mark (Debi) Casey; sisters-in-law, Charlotte (Bob) Phillips, Rosalie Hohenberger, Karen (Edward) Gilmore, Cathy (Phillip) Saunders, Connie (Eugene) Montgomery, Sue Casey, and Julie Casey; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Ridgelawn Cemetery on Thursday November 6, 2025.
