Susan "Susie" Ann Lester

Susan “Susie” Ann Lester, 56, of Gallipolis, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Holzer Medical Center. She was born September 26, 1961 in Yeager, West Virginia, daughter of Lonnie Gene Browning of Patriot and Marcelene Kennedy Browning of Gallipolis, who survive her. Susie was preceded in death by her stepmother, Fredda Kilgore Browning and a stepbrother, Bernie Richard Kilgore. Susie was married to Willie Lester on October 18, 1979 and he survives also. She is a member of Silver Memorial Freewill Baptist Church and loved to crochet. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Willie Lester Sr. of Gallipolis; one son, Willie (Emily) Lester Jr. of Gallipolis; one daughter, Crystal Gilbert of Middletown; four grandchildren, Bladen Gilbert, Evan Gilbert, Katrina Lester and Isaiah Lester; also a grandson, Cashton expected soon; two brothers, Londell (Martha) Browning and Robbie Browning, both of Patriot; two sisters, Lisa Lester of Patriot and Sherri Hall of Gallipolis; several nieces and nephews. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at the Willis Funeral Home with Mick and Brandon Browning officiating. Burial will follow in Neal Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
