Sylvia K. Waddell

Sylvia K. Waddell, 90, of Circleville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the Pickaway Manor Care Center, Circleville, Ohio. She was born February 14, 1921 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late Crony Lear and Minnie Sheets Lear. Sylvia was retired from Phillips Roxanne Laboratory in Columbus, Ohio. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses since 1939 and loved farm animals. Surviving are two sons, Larry (Betty J.) Waddell of Clarksburg, Ohio and Kenny (Betty Jean) Waddell of Circleville, Ohio; four grandchildren, Brent (Regina) Waddell, Erika (Jason) Craiglow, Justin (Holly) Waddell and Brandon (Jesse) Waddell; five great grandchildren, Kali Craiglow, Riley Craiglow, Aaron Craiglow, Kimber Waddell, and Mallory Waddell; a sister-in-law, Mae Lear of Clarksburg, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Haskell H. Lear, a sister, Mildred Eidson and a sister, Mertie in infancy. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Willis Funeral Home, Gallipolis, Ohio with Elder Mike Suttle officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
