Terry N. Waugh

Terry N. Waugh, 68, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at the home of his brother, Roger Waugh. Terry was born on April 16, 1958 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late Bonnie Sprouse Kemper and Clarence "Bill" Waugh.

Terry was a retired telephone lineman, having worked for Gudenkauf Communications. He was a graduate of Hannan Trace High School and a Harley Davidson enthusiast. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by a sister, Dreama Marcum; sister-in-law, Pamela Waugh; and stepmother, Mary Lou Waugh.

Terry is survived by a daughter, Sarah K. (David Johnson) Waugh of Gallipolis; son, Mitchell Wayne Waugh of Crown City, Ohio; grandchildren, Tierra (Devin) Hillyer of Athens, Ohio, Makayla Waugh of Gallipolis, Shawna Waugh of Gallipolis, and Alyssa Waugh of Gallipolis; great-grandchildren, Brennan Waugh, Emmett Waugh, Nyah Waugh, Kinlee Hillyer, Raelynn Hillyer, Scarlett Justice, and Kasen Justice; sister, Bonita K. (Kenneth) Fleming of Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia; brothers, Timothy (Joan) Waugh of Patriot, Roger Waugh of Patriot, Chris (Crystal) Waugh of Patriot, and Ronald Lee (Tammy) Kemper II of Gallipolis; brother-in-law, Keith Marcum of Vinton, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Terry will be held at noon on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastors Bruce and Brenda Adkins officiating. His burial will follow in Sanders # 2 Cemetery in Lawrence County, Ohio. Friends and family may call prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
