Timothy Lee Cantrell, 62, passed away on September 8, 2026. He was born on October 11, 1963.

Timothy was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather. He spent much of his life working in construction and carpentry. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed the simple things in life, especially hunting, fishing, gardening, spending time with his grandchildren, and watching ball games.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Lena and Charles “Beans” Cantrell; his brother, Donald Cantrell; his son, Timothy Daniel Cantrell; and his step- daughter, Lacrisha Cantrell.

Timothy is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Cantrell of Crown City, Ohio; his children, Amber (Brandon) Caldwell, Jessica (Jason) Merrick, Darrell Sargent, and Dewey Cantrell; and his brother, James Cantrell.

He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Clara Cantrell; Gloria and Marty White of Ashland, Kentucky; and Twala Ellison and Earl of Melbourne, Florida.

Timothy was blessed with many grandchildren, including Memphis and Cash Cantrell of Georgia; Tristan (Jessie), Logan and Lincoln Saber of Crown City; Jordan, Jaxon, and Jayden Merrick of Crown City; and Ariella Caldwell of Crown City. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Colt and Cody Saber.

He shared a special bond with his uncle, Richard Faye Cox, and was blessed with many special friends, including Jr. and Cindy Beaver, Jim and Rhonda Merrick, Timmy and Susan Caldwell, James Call, Sara and Keith Sheets, Danny Matney and family, Matt and Noreen Saunders, Roger and Joy Short, and Chuck Mauck.

Timothy is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Timothy will be remembered most for his love for his family, especially his grandchildren, and for the many memories made while doing the things he loved. His presence will be deeply missed, but the love and memories he leaves behind will remain with his family and friends for years to come.

Private family services were held for Timothy.
