Tyler James Burns

Tyler James Burns, 36, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Born on September 14, 1989, Tyler was the son of Jerry L. Burns and the late Nancy Foster Sanders. He graduated from River Valley High School and Buckeye Hills Career Center. Tyler was a boilermaker with Union Local# 105.

Tyler is survived by his father, Jerry L. Burns and step mother Linda Burns of Gallipolis; children, Tristan, Levi, Fletcher, Brooklyn, Addie, Ella, and Sophie; two half-sisters, Caitlyn Foster and Amanda Burns; uncle, Matt (Tina) Foster; nephew, Rylan Greer; and special friend, Crystal.

In addition to his mother, Tyler was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rochella Foster and uncle, Bugsy.

A Celebration of Tyler's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Kanauga Gun Club.
