Vicki Lynn Johnson

Vicki Lynn (Blankenship) Johnson, 56, went to be with her Lord in Heaven on Saturday, January 1, 2011, at her home in Lancaster, Ohio. Born December 29, 1954 in Portsmouth, Ohio, Vicki was the daughter of Roy W. Blankenship and the late Joyce Blankenship. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and daughter. She was a 1973 graduate of Gallia Academy High School in Gallipolis, Ohio. Vicki was a full-time homemaker and enjoyed interior decorating, entertaining and gardening. Also preceding her in death was a stillborn son, Christopher Keith Johnson. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Steven Dean Johnson; two sons, Cory Steven Johnson of Lancaster and Dustin Roy Johnson of Groveport; her father, Roy W. Blankenship of Gallipolis; one sister, Lisa K. (Anthony) Mulholand of Bidwell;two brothers, R. Keith (Sue) Blankenship of Gallipolis and Gary A. (Kathy) Blankenship of Little Hocking; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery in Green Township. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Kevin Metzler, Aaron Mulholand, Anthony Mulholand, Bill Schwamberger, Ryan Watson, Tom Woodward III, and Zachary Blankenship. Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Blankenship and Brody Blankenship. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in the memory of Vicki Johnson to the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J.
