Violet F."Tootsie" Thompson

Violet F. “Tootsie” (Taylor) Thompson, 77, born April 18, 1939, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 from complications from dementia. She was a resident at Arbors of Gallipolis Nursing and Rehabilitation facility in Ohio. Her home was in St. Albans, West Virginia. Violet was a graduate of South Charleston High School and was a retired nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband, Captain “Cap” H. Thompson, father, Carlisle Taylor, mother Virginia Taylor, sister Bessie Hill and brother Gene Taylor. She is survived by her daughter,Tamra (Thompson) Goodall and her husband Mark Goodall of Hurricane, West Virginia and her son Matthew Thompson of St. Albans, West Virginia. Per Violet’s wishes, there will be no services.
