Vora Ollie Buck Waugh, 83 of Crown City, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the St. Marys Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. He was born on March 19, 1928 in Gallia County, Ohio son of the late O.C. and Estella Smith Waugh. Buck worked with the Laborers Union in Portsmouth, Ohio and for Crown City Mining as a driller rig operator. He was a member of the Ohio Valley Masonic Lodge #536 Crown City, Ohio and a 1948 Mercerville High School graduate. He enjoyed farming and mowing his yard. He is survived by his wife Hazel Yvonne Johnson Waugh whom he married on April 9, 1955 in Gallia County, a step son Bobby Joe (Jackie) Johnson of Ridgewood, Ohio, three daughters Debbie (Gean) Watson of Crown City, Jeanie (Keith) McDaniel of Patriot, and Sheila (Steve) Watson of Crown City, a son Phil Waugh of Gallipolis; 12 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. Buck was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters Gail Shaver, Doris Church, Velva Smith and Lecta Crouse, two brothers Elmer Litchfield and Heber Waugh and a brother-in-law Edward Church. Services will be 2 pm Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Warner officiating. Burial will follow in Victory Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. There will be a Masonic Service by the Ohio Valley Masonic Lodge #536 on Saturday evening at the funeral home.
